In September, I began a 6 month container for producing and performing my original music with Ableton live. (Something I’d been dreaming about for too long)
There were around 12 of us in the container - some of the most inspiring women. On the final day, we gave a performance for each other, showing off what we had learn. This was my performance :)
This course made me realize how many little wins make up our big wins. Learning a new skill takes so much time. I learned through this process that I really enjoy diving deep into something entirely new. It was like learning a new language (which I also love :))
In this performance, I’m playing a song that I wrote, recorded, and designed the live component of all while in the container. I added live looping moments, used my in-ears, and recorded everything directly into Ableton Live. All things I didn’t know how to do before this container.
I didn’t plan it that way, but once I realized how big of a stretch it was for me, I knew it was my goal.
To show myself how far I could come.
